CHANGE NEEDS LEADERS

We all can use a sustainable world. It is the very foundation of existence, and is inseparably connected to other core values of human life including: health, happiness and peace. For the transition to a sustainable world to take place, changes need to be made urgently on all levels, including individuals and communities.

What is most imperative in facilitating this shift is leaders who have the vision and passion to inspire others to engage and command the knowledge and skills to help others create change. ECO Leadership Training is ECO’s response to the current need for leadership capabilities for making our communities more caring and sustainable.

Program Content

ECO Programs encompass attitudes, knowledge, and skills that are essential in leading change in communities. Below are the three main components of the training.

Mindfulness Practices

Mindfulness is the foundation for all meaningful changes in our lives, on a personal to global scale. Being mindful is extremely important in developing your brain, because when you are mindful, your brain is in its most malleable condition. Simple mindfulness practices can help us to become healthier and happier. This program will guide you to learn and integrate simple mindfulness practices into your daily life.

Natural Healing

The human body has a profound capacity to heal itself. By tapping into this natural healing power, we can manage our health in a simple, more natural way. With the enormous burden of healthcare costs, the ability to manage one’s health will have considerable impact on an entire community.

Leadership

Creating change in our culture and lifestyle is challenging. Individuals need to learn to manage themselves, listen to their inner voice, develop their strengths, demonstrate integrity, overcome their limitations, and motivate others to collaborate. The leadership component of this training program will guide participants in finding and developing their strengths as leaders and use their leadership skills to work with others.
