Growing The Seeds Of Change
Participants start the day with exercise and meditation, then head over to the farm. They work in the greenhouse, help out with field work, feed the animals, and assist our farmers with various small projects. The purpose of this second day is to practice mindfulness and find harmony with nature. While completing the tasks as a group, an emphasis is placed on putting trust and nourishment in the soil as well as letting go of the past. This portion of the program is a fun way of learning the basics of sustainability and permaculture as well as reflecting on what it means to truly grow.
